The Historic Burdette House

Est. 1891

About the Home

Built in 1891, the Burdette House boasts a rich history and is one of Hot Springs’ premier Victorian retreats. Nestled in the breathtaking Black Hills next to Moccasin Springs, it is the ideal setting for a relaxing and restorative stay. It also sits just one block from Hot Springs’ historic downtown, allowing for quick access to the area’s best dining, shopping, and entertainment.

The house is divided into two lovely and unique suites: the second-floor suite is the Western suite, and the third-floor suite is the Victorian suite. Each suite features thoughtfully planned living spaces, including fully stocked kitchens with stainless steel appliances, living spaces with additional seating and sleeping accommodations, bedrooms with plush queen beds and electric fireplaces, and much more. Both suites also has its own private deck with a grill.

The property also includes a picnic table, fire pit, Redwood dry sauna, man-made seasonal waterfall, and a nature pond. The pond is home to two turtles, Sheldon and Franklin, who can often be seen sunning themselves, adding to the relaxing, peaceful outdoor experience here at the Burdette House.
